A small, hardy, graceful tree. Yellowish, white fragrant flowers in the spring. Popular for its red fall color and bright red samaras. Very cold hardy. Tolerates dry and alkaline soils. Slow growing. Recommended street tree for under utility lines, between streets and sidewalks. Matures at 15-20′; 15′ spread. (zone 3-7) Needs full to partial sunlight.
